Deleted partitions, stuck in grub
I have recently installed Linux Mandrake 7.1 on a new computer i recieved, just to test it out before I put it on another computer. After I was through checking it out, I had intended to delete Mandrake, and install Win 98. I made a 98 boot disk and put the win 98 fdisk and format on it, treating this format like any other partitioning job i had done in the past. I booted from the win98 bootdisk, ran fdisk, and deleted the two partitions there (that had automaticall been created when i installed Mandrake). I then rebooted, intending to partition and format again from scratch. However, now the computer comes up in "Grub", and doesn't even recognize a boot disk, win98 or Linux. I am totally lost. I have tried various commands, but they all seem to fail due to "partition does not exist" or the like. I am lost and frustrated. How can i boot from a boot disk when it oonly comes ub in grub?
Thanks for any help you can provide,
