And question. What are you trying to use to get the 3D graphics? Ubuntu(Gnome) would need compiz to get the 3D graphical items working. On KDE 4.x it comes with a 3D environment, but you can still use compiz if you wish, but ether one you would have to configure. Also yes do you have the proprietary drivers set up? That would cause a huge difference.
I found the driver but my computer hasn't found the command (?)
The card didn't come with a CD so I didn't even think about needing proprietary drivers.

Thre, I downloaded the driver (ati-driver-installer-9-10-x86.x86_64.run) and tried to execute it but it output "ati-driver-installer-9-10-x86.x86_64.run: command not found". Is there something I'm missing?

Just use jockey-kde to enable the needed restricted driver.
