Can't uncompress or extract the tarball


[root@SANA4SPA ~]# ls -R
.:
anaconda-ks.cfg Downloads Music Public Videos
Desktop install.log newscript Templates
Documents install.log.syslog Pictures test1

./Desktop:
Home.desktop konsole.desktop trash.desktop

./Documents:
#explode# index.odt

./Downloads:
rdesktop-1.7.0.tar.gz

./Music:

./Pictures:

./Public:

./Templates:

./Videos:

[root@SANA4SPA ~]# tar -zxvf rdesktop-1.7.0.tar.gz
tar (child): rdesktop-1.7.0.tar.gz: Cannot open: No such file or directory
tar (child): Error is not recoverable: exiting now
tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
[root@SANA4SPA ~]#

Thank you, it was a very humbling moment,I felt like an idiot, when I caught the fact that I was in the wrong directory.
