Can't install Nvidia driver

Okay, so I have been trying to install Nvidia drivers on my free version of Mandriva 2007. I have been using the wiki and I followed the mandriva instructions.

I have installed the newest kernel using "urpmi kernel-source-stripped-2.6.17.8mdv-1-1mdv2007.0", tells me that the version is already installed, however when I "uname -r" it tells me that "2.6.17-5mdv" is installed.

When I try and install newest Nvidia driver and try to compile kernel I get some error.

Suggestions?

Never mind, just had to reboot in order to recognize new kernel. Installed new nvidia driver and runs great.
