Hey all-
I'm trying to install gcc and g++ so I can compile some source code for an FTP client. When I run
Code:
sudo zypper install gcc
It prompts me, I hit 'Y' and let it go. It hangs up every time though and throws this error:
Code:
Failed to mount cd:///?devices=/dev/sr0 on /var/adm/mount/AP_0x00000001: No medium found (mount: No medium found on /dev/sr0)
It appears that it's looking for a CD or something, even though the package I want is obviously in the repository and just needs to be downloaded and installed. I'm at a loss here. This is a virtual machine running SuSE 11. Any help would be great. Thanks!
EDIT: So definitely a YaST problem. When I tried to install the packages using the YaST GUI, it prompted me to put the SuSE 11 install disk into the CD drive, which is bizarre, considering I installed this without a CD. Please help!
