Can't connect to the internet


I can't connect to the internet as a simple user. I can connect only as root. When I try to connect as a simple user kppp shows it connects allright but I can see any website or connect to IRC

You don't have permissions to use kppp, only root does and hence root connects and a user cannot. You'll have to set the permissions for kppp;

Firstly find the path_to kppp;
then do chmod u+s /path_to/kppp
