Angry Can't Browse!

I managed to get my modem working and everything. I use kppp to dial out and it makes a succesful connection. When I launch konqueror to browse what happens is that it loads about 10% of the page and then stops with the status bar reading retrieving data from www.xxx.xx.

Any suggestions to why?

Thank you.

If you run konqueror from the command line (i.e. open a konsole and type konqueror), what errors are you given when it does this? Also, does it occur on all pages, or only some?
