Hi all!
i was wondering if somebody could help me out with a problem im having setting up linux on my comp. I'm a total newbie, so please bear with me if i seem like i dont know a thing!
basically, i have two harddrives, xp is installed on my master, and linux on my slave... i currently use my bios to switch from one boot to the other, setting the relevant hd to boot from when i want it.
I was hoping however that it wuold be possible to boot to my slave, and instead of go straight into linux (redhat) have the possibility of choosing windows isntead... so i used grub to try and do this, grub loads the linux fine, but when it comes to xp, the system just hangs, any suggestions?
my grub config to boot xp goes something like this:
title Windows XP
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1
thanks for any help!

well, after a long haul fighting the man pages (i'm a bit slow at reading those things) i finally came up with the following, which seems to work fine
title Windows XP
map (hd0) (hd1)
map (hd1) (hd0)
rootnoverify (hd1,0)
chainloader +1
yeay!
