$PATH edit query

Hi.

Using Suse 10.0 on an x86_64 machine.

I know how to add items to my $PATH in .bashrc, but how do I remove items from it? I've gotten rid of some software and would like to clean up the path.

Thanks,
John Paul

All you do is remove the relevant directories from the "PATH=/some/dir:/another/dir:/yet/another/dir" line in your .bashrc.
