Question Ed's Debian DHCP

I just recently got Ed's Debian for my xbox. I have a kernel version 2.4.25. My router is a linksys nh1005. i can connect through the router on my windows xp box, but my xbox keeps DHCPDISCOVER over and over until it "sleeps" im really a newbie at this so i have no clue what to do. i made a small webpage just for my networking problems at {the link is in my profile} because i dont want to put too much on the forum.

Thanks a bunch
Joe
