Check my server's vulnerability


Hi,

I just installed a web server and i'd like to test it's vulnerability to ping of death to prevent it before i connect it to the internet, i don't know how to do though, please help.

Unless you are running a very old kernel (2.0.x) , you are not vulnerable!
As root:
Code:
ping -l 65510 localhost
For a more intense test, you can try nessus.
If you have average knowledge of network : hping3 and fragrouter.
