Can't Access Windows Share through Apache

Ok, here's the deal. I have spent quite a bit of time on these forums and Google trying to figure out what I am doing wrong with this and just can't.

I have a large shared directory on my windows xp box and have it sucessfully mounted on my linux box. (the standared user can read and exectue all files in it.) But, when I try to access files in that directory through Apache I get:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /members/remotedownloads/ on this server."

** /remotedownloads is where I mounted the file system from the xp box**

I even tried mounting the filesystem in the apache /html directory just to see if it would work then, and still had no luck. I really can not figure where my permissions are screwed up, as useres in a group and others, have access when not run though Apache.

Thanks for your help,
Steve

Change That

Change that. I can access the individule files, Thats not a problem. the problem is when i try to have it link to a folder so I can just have a directory listing of the contents.

Problem Solved!!!

After hours of trouble shooting it comes down to the fact that I can not spell. Yuu have to spell Indexes correctly in .htaccess if you want it to work. Sorry for anyone who wasted their time reading this
