I know it is completely offtopic here, but:
To be precise, installation was not requested in the original post. So [most probably] the DVD is already made, problem solved. From the other hand this thread is the "usual" xy problem, where we have had no any idea about the real issue but happily solved a different and irrelevant one. so this is the url to the the 32bit ISO: https://linuxmint.com/edition.php?id=273 Quote:

Yes, the word floppy makes it sound old, however people can use differing terminology and if the OP can't look up the system specs, or follow some recommendations from people here as to how to gain that information, such as using the Windows Control Panel System information, or something similar, or inspect the computer, then there's sort of very little where we can help them.
I know also a bit off topic, but the permeation of viruses and etc in their threads, coupled with this request which dances about that by way of omission, concerns me. It sort of seems clear that they want to purchase a pre-made DVD because of these malware/virus concerns from other threads. So, some here are citing that you can download and make media, you also can make varied media, such as USB, CD, or DVD, or other flash card (uSD, Compact Flash, etc), and I concur. So I'm approaching this from the perspective as to how engaged the OP is here to solve this versus persist with something like an incremental question, along similar lines tied to their other threads. Directly on topic, thanks pan64 for citing a link. Given that, I'd like to hear from the OP if they know their system specifications or if they need help to find that out so that people can give a fully applicable answer, as in which product specifically to purchase. |

Just not sure based on their posts that any OS that requires installation/tinkering is a good fit. |
