Acer Aspire One laptop can't go pass black screen along with cross cursor [PICS]

For a week already while booting my Acer Aspire One 110 laptop, it would only go past the blue Acer logo, then afterwards have a black screen with a movable cross cursor.

I have no idea what happened, all I know is that I accidentally deleted my panels (task bar) and lost the Network, Time, etc icons on it using Xfce. I used some codes that users said helped, and it didn't. So after restarting the laptop, it then just leaves to a black screen.

This is what the cursor looks like, but its black outlined with white.
Did anyone experience this problem before? I tried flashing the BIOS and thought it did the trick..but it didn't.

*This model of my computer is a Linux Linpus Lite. It originally had Windows Xp as the software, then my cousin somehow tweaked it to Linux (which is somewhat difficult for me.

Hi - this model works well with Fedora - so if you don't have any data (offline email, etc), you could install Fedora from a live usb option (use the 32 bit, XFCE spin)

Had many problems except Ubuntu. If no cd, other ways to instal.
