I have an 8GB Sandisk Cruzer USB stick. I am using OpenSuse 11. It won't automount at time of plug-in. If I run Yast Hardware Information, it shows up as my Frive /dev/sdf which is correct. How do I get it to automount each time I plug it in? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try this:
First type mount and look to see if it's mounted. Then
ls /dev/sdf*
And see what partition you wish to mount, on /dev/sdf; probably /dev/sdf1. If there are no /dev/sdf partitions, you need to partition the drive, and put a file system on it. I use ext2 type file system for flash devices.
