kernel panic: try passing init= option to kernel...installation with Red Hat 9
Hey i require a bit of help. I tried installing Red Hat Linux 9, with running two separate harddrives. windows on the primary master and linux on the primary slave. the installation halted, and said it couldn't iniatate /swap
partition
after repeating installation but checking the /swap partition for bad blocks with none found and the instalation went fine after that.
the GRUB works fine but linux will not boot up: the error message being : Kernel panic: try passing init= option to kernel.
please help
