Can't install Canon LBP 3200 on RHEL WS4

After unzipping the drivers to use with this printer, ie
cndrvcups-capt-1.20.1.i386.rpm and
cndrvcups-common-1.20.1.i386.rpm
I then went to install the second file as recommended in the instructions. I received the error message that there were failed dependencies, as the following files could not be located:
libcups.so.2
libgdk-1.2.so.0
libglib-1.2.so.0
libgmodule-1.2.so.0, and
libgtk-1.2.so.0
Should have I moved the rpm files to a folder where those lib files are located? If so, which one? I had a look in one of the lib folders where files of similar names were located, but they were later versions. Does this matter? Also I can't find a folder that has all of these missing dependencies - only some of them. There are no later drivers on the Canon website. What have I done wrong?
