how to install Super Boot Manager i
please post a link to this software
i have never herd of it

now seeing as you have read and studied the LFS install textbook
and you did ( pass the class ) and build and INSTALL LFS

-- guessing you used Debian stable as the host

you then know how to edit and rebuild the boot image

for whatever manager you are using
GRUB ?
grub legacy or 2 ?
or
lilo
or
something else

also what is it you want to do

something like the Fedora 20 infinity symbol for the "Plymouth manager"

or
just a custom login screen
or a custom boot menu

from that paid for forum post. The SBM he is referring to is the Ubuntu repo one
https://code.launchpad.net/~ingalex
there have been no updates to in in 3 years

for "plymouth"
http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/Plymouth/
start with getting it
then build it
then replace grub

But it MUST!!!!! have a DRM modesetting driver used
-- nouveau not the nvidia.run
