That is a good site. The content helped me setup 10g on RHEL3. Bumpy ride though, I would not do it again. I think it's best to just get a supported platform

Speaking of supported platforms, Oracle 9i should be supported on RHEL4 is it not? It should just be a matter of getting the installation material onto the box and running the setup program. It launches a java instanace (that it ships with - so no worries there) and OUI runs inside that. Follow the prompts and OUI will tell you if Oracle cannot be installed, or if kernel options need tweaking. (It won't tell you how to do it though - so we'll expect to be hearing from you
