arnova 10 1b


Hi there,i m trying to instal linux on my arnova10 tablet,is it possible? And how??

I do know Archos tablets work well with Linux but not sure if arnova will http://www.archos.com/support/support_tech/updates_gnu.html?country=us&lang=en which is the Archos kernels

or you could root the device then put a chrooted environment with VPN though it.

I could not find instructions to install Linux on Arnova 10.
However, the Linux source code for RK2918 is available: http://www.arctablet.com/blog/archos...e-publication/

This is just the kernel with busybox, so you'd probably have quite a lot of work to have a full distro.
