It made the live media as it should and has also compiled successfully on my slackware64, arch x86 and arch x86_64 systems too so I think it's good
it added alot of stuff, drivers, etc the 2.6.34 version didn't have...
anyway, heres the kernel, modules, and source
plus the modified lls from ritchie, I replaced his 4.1
squashfs in /root/lls/tools with the 4.0 squashfs so its ready to go
the errors mean that Meerkat's using a higher squashfs than in Ritchie's LLS which uses 4.0 or 4.1
so, maybe theres a way to build the higher squashfs or wait...
I gotta check something

In the meantime I have made a new Slackware remaster which I call SlackEX 13.1 with Gnome 2.30.2 and LXDE using your "old" kernel 2.6.33.3. Unfortunately the ISO-file canīt be downloaded. I have no serverspace for it at the moment. Itīs a pity since SlackEX is in English. (The default locale is English).

Mmmmmm...
there seem to be some differences between meerkat's 4.0 squashfs and Ritchies 4.1 CVS squashfs
the 4.0 squashfs with kernel 2.6.35-r5 makes the live media in about 15min vs 45min+ for 4.1 CVS vs 70-90min 3.4
but, the live media I made with the 2.6.35-r5 kernel and squashfs 4.0 was bigger than the 4.1 cvs builds...
weird huh?
the live cd I made earlier was about 640MB vs the 4.1 cvs' build of 522mb
thats a big difference
I would've thought the 4.1 squashfs would have been faster at making the live media and make it smaller
but, then I remembered squashfs 4.1 cvs is built against or patched with lzma and thats why it takes longer but makes it smaller...
so, if upgrading to kernel from meerkat 2.6.35-r5 then your cd will be at least 100mb larger...
what do you think is best?

I would prefer kernel 2.6.35-r5 since it is newer. My ISO-file is already 797 MB (with Gnome and all) so I donīt care about the size.
I know now that kernel 2.6.35-r5 works, but I have not yet tried to make a live Slackware system with it. Iīm working on it now.

How many Slackware installs do you have?
I have now tried with kernel 2.6.35-rc5 (to build a "livemedia"). No success. I get kernel panic and these error messages: EXT2-fs (ram0): error ext2-get-inode: unable to read inode block - ram0: rw:0, want=16474, limit=15554 attempt to access beyond end of device.
I have 3 Slackware 13.1 installs.
I have not yet tried kernel 2.6.35-9.14. Should I?
Btw: The size of the iso-file increased from 794 mb to 974 mb.

I just cant figure out why yours are not building...
anyway, I built the newer kernel and it still came out as 2.6.35-r5 so I guess not much changed...
I wish I knew more about how to strip the squashfs 4.0 from meerkat's kernel and instead apply the sqlzma 4.1 cvs squashfs
as that would be the best of all worlds...
there seems to be an issue when you try to build your stuff...I wish I knew what it was?
I'm happy to tell you that my live dvd with Slackware 13.1 using your kernel 2.6.35-rc5 now works! No errors at all!
Donīt ask me what I did wrong the first time. This time I started all over again from the beginning. I compiled my own kernel using your .config. (I did not change anything however. Only the name of the kernel).
