Error loading speedo, starting X

When I try startx it starts to load, but hten my screen stays black and I get no signal to my monitor. When I switch back to the vc I executed the command from it lists an error. I am fairly new to linux and don't know how to go about solving this problem.
Error message:

Is this all the errors there were? It seems like X got past the missing Speedo and choked on something else. If this is all the errors, then you could try:
- installing the Speedo modules (have you emerged fontconfig?)
- removing speedo from your /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Before any of the above, though, I'd suggest moving to Fedora, Mandrake or SuSE instead of Gentoo. Gentoo is a great distro, but it's not really meant for newbies.

you're right, I paid more attention this time. I think X does get loaded, because it switches to the vc it normally resides in, but my screen gets no signal. I have to switch to the original vc where I use ^c to kill the program.
I found the log for X, but I can't put the whole thing in here. I'll put the stuff I think are the errors along with some reference around them.

I found the problem. I didn't know that my monitor settings were wrong for hte monitor I was using. So that's why nothing was being displayed to the monitor. =P Thanks to Moy Easwaren for trying to help me.
