My wife insists that you have to pronounce it « sisi TOP », meaning... oh look it up. I cannot translate it from French without risking a moderator's truncheon. The French word would be « Zizi ». She sais « we are in France, I say it in French ». She's half right, unfortunately.

Zabaglione had been pronounced by Germans only, during my lifetime. I cannot say what's right.

... that said, maybe my own pronunciation is just wrong: „Ci Ci Top”, more like in cigarette. Again, that is what had become accustomed to, in Germany (hearing the French speak English will not influence me). Anyhow.., Le « Zizi » is not easily acceptable.
