Actually the last quarter of the calendar year is holy in most of Asia and we in India get a succession of holidays - vinayaga chathurthi (ganesh panchami), deepawali, ramzan and christmas. This (holidays) is one of the side benefits of plurality. You can goof off with a free conscience on ALL the holi-days. Correspondingly there is the discount season in most shops / establishments. (Not factories mind - unless they are click based).

SEASON'S GREETINGS AND BEST WISHES FOR THE NEW YEAR.

OK

I haven't seen a Christmas celebration ever, nor I have ever been inside a Church!
That saddens me.

Those who aren't Christians are free to go to work on Tuesday and do a full days work if you feel like it. To those who are Christians and to others who are adult enough to share in good will etc. Merry Christmas to you all.

Considering your thread about how to raise a child I am surprised by this. Why on earth would you be sad when you seem so intent on stopping a possible future child taking part in religious activity? Rhetorical question, it is more a comment on your fence sitting.
