I can't stand penalty shoot outs

I want to forget the disallowed Sol header ---- I have to put that behind me before the press get on it tomorrow. I JUST CAN NOT BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was a very bad decision by the referee. Very bad. Very very very bad. And unfair. It's not unfair now that we have lost ---- it was *clearly* unfair at the time. Go England GO!

Congratulations to Portugal. They played better attacking football and perhaps should have won anyway but the real outcome will always be in doubt.

And Mr. Beckham. What *exactly* is his job??? Yeah ....okay. The pundits say that he plays for the team but er...... missing another penalty???? Poor show.

S%*t ---- I want to rant but all I can say is - go on and win Portugal!!

Hey, wasn't soccer created by the English fellows? At least they were the first one who named the sport as football in 1863... So if you really think about the results, and the penalty kick, it's all your fault, or your ancestors fault in that matter... lol

* the English fellows?*
this isn't Lord Of The Rings.

What's your problem man?. Are you trying to create a flame war or are you just that stupid?. It was just a match, and I was trying to be friendly.... But since you are not, Euro matches sucks... You saw the match between Sweden and Denmark? Clearly made up to disqualify Italy. The English played bad as always and no tournament can compete with Brazilian tournaments (not any other country can compete with Brazilian's national team for that matter...). Five time World Champion speaks by itself . Europe should be better off watching something else...

Just to bring sanity to the proceedings......

England played (again) very badly. Very badly indeed. We had flashes of brilliance, but too many chances were missed. We were definitely robbed of that goal. It was one of many instances where, IMO, the Swiss referee favoured the Portugese - they weren't given a yellow card for a tackle identical to one where we did get one. But that's football.

Incidentally, on the radio this morning, I heard tell that whereas most referees like to keep a low profile and do the job and go home, last night's ref has a website, a fan club and a feedback page. The highlighted fool.

Anyway, it's done, over with - we may have lost but at least we're spared weeks of references to 1966

Move along, nothing to see here.

And btw - it's football not soccer.
