Hi all
Found this computer in a dumpster, so I have no motherboard documentation. The sound doesn't work, which I want to change. I don't know if the sound card is built in or separate. I have no idea what I'm looking at with regards to hardware. What I'm wondering is how in linux I can determine what kind of sound card I have. Or even if someone is adventurous enough to attempt an explanation for looking in the tower, I'm open to that. I have run lspci as root in both Slackware 10.2 and Knoppix 3.4 with no luck (as in, nothing looked remotely like a sound card).
