Went from FC13 to FC14 now gaming graphics shotty...

I had been running Fedora core 13. Everything was running fine. Gaming graphics were excellent. 3d acceleration was as well.
Did a fresh install of fedora core 14 and now gaming graphics just plain suck. Colours are distorted, textures are shotty, lots of black spots in the distance.
I've install mesa experimental drivers with no improvement.
also messed with the settings in either game with little to no improvement

Specific games this is happening on are urban terror and nexuiz.
Graphics card is Radeon HD 4650

Anyone else having this issue?
Any suggestions on what i can try?

Code:
# glxinfo | grep render
direct rendering: Yes
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI R600 (RV730 9498) 20090101 TCL DRI2
Attached Files
File Type: txt lspci.txt (691 Bytes, 17 views)

Not surprising,
Code:
/# rpm -ql mesa-dri-drivers-experimental
/usr/lib/dri/nouveau_dri.so
/usr/lib/dri/nouveau_vieux_dri.so
/usr/share/doc/mesa-dri-drivers-experimental-7.10
/usr/share/doc/mesa-dri-drivers-experimental-7.10/COPYING
First thing, ensure that you've got the latest mesa and X updates for F14. If that doesn't help, you might try manually reverting to the F13 version of mesa (and X, if necessary - I know this is frowned upon, but I've had to do things like this in the past to get working video with my nvidia GeForce 9100 onboard graphics).

Definitely something to look into.
