GRUB not loading after updating fedora 9

Hello friends,I upgraded from fedora 8 to fedora 9.92(rawhide) using preupgrade last week.Two days after that I was notified of certian updates and I gave yes to all.After all upgrades were installed,I restarted and then the trouble starts.I duel boot with windows and so I have GRUB.During booting it get stuck and shows only GRUB.Nothing else.I tried live cds to recover data,but all so far futile.Any help will be appreciciated....

In my opinion rawhide is the not stable version.
Did you still have the Fedora 8 version try to get commandline
and give the output of the command fdsik -l {L lower case}(as root)

You are doing good testing!

Upgrade it further... you may have something like Fedora 10!

Rawhide is updated daily.

Try to boot the kernel directly and Upgrade!

Post h/w specs too.

With a rescue cd you can chroot and reinstall grub too.

Thanks Guys,
I solved the problem using SuperGrub cdrom and re-installed the grub....
