Helpful Hints:
By checking the date on a package's package.list file, you can tell when it was installed/upgraded. Also, by actually looking _in_ a given package.list file, you can see all the files that were installed by that package.
>$ apt-cache search apt show version
apt-listchanges - Display change history from .deb archives
apt-show-source - Shows source-package information
apt-show-versions - lists available package versions with distribution
cmucl-source - The CMUCL lisp sources
debian-goodies - Small toolbox-style utilities for Debian systems
sg-utils - utilities for working with generic SCSI devices
sg3-utils - Utilities for working with generic SCSI devices
onlisp-pdf - PDF version of book on Common Lisp programming techniques
onlisp-ps - Postscript version of book on Common Lisp programming techniques
That's kind of sloppy, because it will not print packages on "hold". Also, it will incorrectly print packages that have been removed, but have "install" in the package name.
Other than the negative aspects, I do have to give a few points for creativity.
