APIs to get the system information

Hi bro's


I want to know APIs in linux to get the system information like cpu info, memory info, battery info, network info. I have to get those information and have to send to other host. I am using redflag.

please tell me those apis except uname..

    I hope this is what you meant. I think what you may want is Gkrellm. And I also have numerous utilities for KDE that keep me constantly updated on my desktop. I hope that's what you meant.

    The kernel has these informations. Linux Kernel API links: http://kernelbook.sourceforge.net/kernel-api.pdf , http://www.gnugeneration.com/mirrors...api/book1.html . Start with the proc filesystem programming, because /proc contains all the necessary data (e.g. /proc/stat, /proc/meminfo, /proc/net/*, etc.).
