    Nedit copy/paste failure

Reporting back on some subsequent observations ...

    From my previous post:

    Quote:
I have noticed a suspected but unconfirmed connection with another NEdit event: the copy/paste failure seems to occur when one or more of the NEdit instances have open a modified file, i.e., changes that have not been saved. It seems that when the save is accomplished, the clipboard lock goes away and copy/paste begins working again.
I now have specifically observed that, when the copy/paste failure has occurred while one instance of NEdit has unsaved changes, saving those changes sometimes clears the copy/paste failure in other NEdit instances. I have observed this result several times.

However, I also have observed instances where the save did not clear the copy/paste failure. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Thanks for your thoughts. Sorry for not replying until now. I must have missed the email notification about your comment. I'll look into Bumblebee.

I have tried one nVidia driver that Ubuntu Software Center offers, but it won't install due to dependency problems.
