This is the first "blog" of any kind I've ever had, so it's probably not the greatest...
Just a little snippet about me:
I'd like to consider myself relatively tech-savvy; obviously I use Linux (Arch to be precise; K.I.S.S. FTW), and I enjoy learning new things about computers in general (both software and hardware-related).
This blog is mostly just for whenever I feel like telling the world about my experiences with computers/Linux (or just life in general), or just posting for the hell of it.

Go ahead, laugh. ...or do whatever it is you do when you see someone post something so amazingly immature (e.g. eyebrow raise, head shake, sigh, any combination of the three, etc.).
I'm @#$%ing 19 years old and still have a soft spot for cartoons, particularly anthropomorphized animals...tell me that isn't weird.
See also this. No, I don't use it as my background currently, but it's the resolution of my lappy's screen (1366x768)...just that fact is enough to make me look totally weird, right? The worse part: I made it myself. In case it isn't obvious, it's derived from the image above.

Why do you call it immature? People that grew up with games are no straingers to animated digital imagry. Though, Cartoons arn't interactive. But it's generally the content you look at to concider if you are part of the target demographic. You probably would be looked at straingly if you watched something targeted at only children. However, certain things like Shrek are aimed at mass appeal while still maintaining a wholesome good for children feel.
So really you would have to list the things you watch if you wanted to compair your self against what the majority of people think is right or wrong. Personally, if you find it enjoyable, you shouldn't need to justify it to your self or others. Not like it harms anybody.Posted 01-22-2011 at 08:59 PM by lumak
