I actually use something totaly diffrent then ither of these.

The name escapes me cause i need to go find it again. :p

anyway I was running a 233mz lappy with linux and I gotta say using natulius or konkoror are not an option. Both are slow use way to much resources and are not seprate from the GUI manager. Also they require WAY WAY too much libraries to work. Another note about QT and KDE i used to love KDE until i needed to compile QT from scratch. Without special options or patches from the LFS team ive never gotten QT to compile successfully.

As for Gnome. WAY WAY too much garbage you gotta install to get it to work. But at least it all compiles :)

With a distro you never see much of what im talking about cause its all done for you but just my personal experiance.

Like another said Consol still my favorite and shares are 200% eazier to get mounted.

When I have a very minor update to do on an ftp server, it's much easier to open the ftp connection with Konqueror and edit the file directly with a text editor, rather than download a local copy, edit it, and then put it back up.

Also, I've not figured out a way of making ftp and sftp do auto-completion, so transferring files with long names gets tiresome very quickly.
