Talking Wild shot in the dark here - But any chance anyone here has ever managed to setup a Tekkit Minecraft Server on Linux?

I can't seem to find any good guides that clearly explain how to set this up.

Setting up a normal minecraft server was easy enough (already got that), but I don't get where to install this mod, or does the mod itself include the server? There's also several versions of this mod apparently, I am shooting for the Tekkit Classic Reloaded (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft...assic-reloaded) as my nephew's buddies computers aren't very powerful.

It seems like most of the guides for setting this up require Windows and a bunch of launcher utilities that move the mod files into their correct directories but none of the guides explain what the launchers are actually doing for you (typical I guess lol).

Anyhow, I'm not expecting much from this post but I figured why not, I know gamers like to lurk here.

Surely the minecraft heads or those involved in the game have enough to say on that? Why don't you hang out where they do, if there's not a walk-through online.

Ahh, I forgot about this post. I did eventually get it figured out. Someone on reddit responded to me after a few days.
