from fedora to ubuntu
Hi!
i wan to install the ubuntu with alternate, because i have fedora 9 on my pc, i have a partition with 300 gb data, and i want to keep this partition, ive have made this partition with lvm, can i use the alternate to kepp this partition? ive tried with desktop cd, but it cant do the lvm trick... i have three logvol, how can i delete only two, the guided lvm partitioning want to delete the entire volume group. --- sorry for my english |

Why do you want to install Ubuntu, might it be better to try it as a guest OS in virtualbox/VMware or to use a live CD version?
