Can you change the desktop icon default size?
Windows 7 has a great feature that you can use Ctrl scroll wheel to resize the icons on the desktop.
I am running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with 3D, and have set the Launcher icon size, but I don't see anything immediately obvious and easy for the desktop icons. Has Ubuntu got any means of easily setting the icon size? |

Thanks for the reply!
The first link doesn't work for me, as gconf-editor -> apps -> nautilus -> preferences -> icon_view isn't there (I think they took it out in 12.x). The 2nd one did it - open a folder, then go Edit -> Preferences -> Default zoom level. (The Preferences option isn't on the desktop Edit menu, but doing it within a folder also applies it to the desktop...) |
