Opensuse live on USB

I tried to make a live usb by unetbootin but I couldn't. I tried to do their instruction using imagewriter but after doing that for using my usb disk I had to format it.
What is the problem?

I have stopped using those tools. I use a virtual machine. Create a vm and don't create a hard drive. Boot the vm to the iso of suse. Attach the usb to the vm and load the os to the usb.

You just can't reboot to the usb yet in the (easily) vm so test it on your full system.

See www.pendrivelinux.com for more ideas or OpenSuse help pages for how to create a live usb.

Some older usb drives may be an issue. Some usb 3 ports and usb can cause issues. 12.3 finially fixed my usb 3.
