Weird message bus "hang" during boot
Hi all
I've got a box running 14.2 (x86_64, generic 4.4.75 kernel). It does something weird during boot: It hangs for about 15 seconds at this: Starting system message bus: /usr/bin/dbus-uuidgen --ensure ; /usr/bin/dbus-daemon --system It's an AMD GX-424CC SOC with Radeon(TM) R5E Graphics. I have several of these, and this is the only one that exhibits this specific behavior. Everything seems to run just fine. There are no apparent issues anywhere, yet obviously something is up, since this is definitely not normal behavior. Any suggestions? |
This has just been fixed in the latest update for both -stable and -current.
You should get the update soon in the closest repository |
I've got the same problem (see http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ge-4175610613/), and a dbus patch (dbus-1.10.8-x86_64-2_slack14.2) is available now.
