I'm at the very beginning of the "desktop-maker" carrer. I don't know many things: for instance I don't know how to write conky scripts myself and how to use gimp in the right way. But I think I'll learn... you know, by trial and error.

Been messing with getting cleaner fonts with Slackware64 13.37 and the ability to read Thai fonts system wide and have succeeded. I also made some slight changes to my .conkyrc, nothing fancy, just the way I like it. I was having some issues with my Intel i915 taking a dump on me periodically and have since upgraded libdrm-2.4.25-x86_64-1.txz & mesa-7.10.2-x86_64-1.txz from testing as well as the 2.6.38.4 kernel and have not had any problems since.

Nice! From the looks of it, it looks like you have 2 monitors connected? How did you get the desktop to look like 2 separate ones where KDE shows the bottom bar on both monitors?

Yes I am running dual monitors. What I did was enable twinview and than add it a second tool bar to my second screen. Now it looks like separate X screens in kde but its not.
Though I acts like it as I can keep open windows on each individual space for each screen. what I did was enable "only keep task for the current screen and current desktop" under the task manager settings.... BUT it does not behave like a true Separate X Screen.

Thats exactly how I have it configure. I have my secondary "HDMI" Monitor set as my primary.... and my primary "DVI" set as my secondary.
