If anyone recognizes the Conky and knows who created it, please let me know who they are.

I remember this conky, it looks very much this one from 2011: http://www.deviantart.com/art/slacke...nfig-207760045 by 0x6c756b65.

I fail to understand how do you guys manage to implement such beautiful desktops with 'minimal' WM's.
It's a process.
It begins right after installation when you look at the default theme and think, "That thing is going to give me eye cancer if I don't fix it"
and ends in a low grade dementia where you're certain your desktop represents the pinnacle of utility and form.

Is that your subtle way telling us that after pulseaudio we are a systemd + cortana away from being a windows feel-alike desktop system? O:-)

I say let's go for Shodan instead.

I wrote some CSS for icecat, just had it with scurvy tabs and #fff moz-design.
I'll probably write some more for xfce when it shifts to CSS/GTK3

I like KDE, but keep my desktop as uncluttered as possible. I also have the task bar auto-hide, but figured it'd be neat to show new-to-Slackware/Linux folks what neat little things can be done to it to personalize it if one wants (i.e. I changed the KDE menu button to something I wanted and liked better). I also have a directory with quite a few pictures that I use to have the desktop background change every hour or so.

After a long hiatus from Slackware (tried out LFS for a bit), I'm back to Slackware.

With that, a fresh look on my openbox. I got the inspiration from the Arch forum where I still lurk from time to time.
