StartX Problem...
 

When I try to open the X server with startx i get this error: Fatal server error: no screens found. I 've already configured the xorgconfig file and i still get this error.. does anyone can help me?

ok I think you should load the default file backup and type this in the console:
echo "exec gnome-session" ~/.xinitrc.conf

You have configured your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file already, but if you are still getting that message, you have not configured it right,

Try all of the configuration tools and see if you get better results with any of the. xorgsetup, xorgcnf, xorgconfig, and "X-configure". Are tehy all the same, or are they different? Does any of them work? The goal is to get X to start, then tweak the file to optimize your settings.
