I was going to wait for my "official" DVD to arrive, but my limited supply of patience ran out. So I've got the 64-bit 14.0 up and running on my desktop. Very nice (as usual). Thanks Pat, the Team, and all Slackers who tested all its bits and pieces. :hattip: :)

Thanks to Pat and crew! Downloaded and seeded the 64-bit release to 3.0 ratio (need bandwidth for other stuff, will try to seed again tonight).

3.5.4 kernel is working great, btw.

Big thanks to everybody involved and responsible for the new release!

Everything working perfectly here. Big thanks to Pat and the team, but leave something/anything broken next time, I need to have some fun ;).

Side note: maybe also update the announcement on slackware.com's home page ? Otherwise folks at Distrowatch will yell at Slackware for its lack of professionalism. :D

Shift+F5 (at least in Firefox) to ignore the cache -- the 14.0 announcement has been on the front page of slackware.com since release day.

Indeed. One often wonders how much one has yet to learn.

The comparison of Slackware to OAK is most apt, IMHO
