I did a Google search on this line from the dmesg output

Perhaps you could add this as a kernel option when booting the hugesmp.s kernel.

I did a little google, and I found this:

It seems, you may need to download extra driver from VIA in order to get it working.

I think you are on the right track ghostdancer.
After looking further, the VIA VT8237S is certainly supported in the Slackware 12 kernel and is being detected as shown by this line from the dmesg output.

Hey Allend, i tried the booting option but still no luck :(

But thats ide not the sata

Thanks Ghostdancer, seems that more people have this problem,its only a pitty that slackware isn't on the driver list.
Its seems that slackware cant work on this mobo :(
