Konsole error ---iso10646-1 not found

I'm getting an error when opening Konsole ---

Font `-misc-console-medium-r-normal--16-160-72-72-c-160-iso10646-1' not found.
Check README.linux.console for help.

Error started after I updated Slack 9.1 using swaret.

I have tried to select different font settings in Konsole wth the same error.

any idea's?

Thanks!

Sme here, again after latest swaret upgrade on November 19th.
Looking at the list, I would guess that the koffice upgrade was the most likely culprit

working!

I downgraded the qt-3.2.3-i486-1 package to qt-3.2.1-i486-1 and konsole is now working correctly!

I know how to upgrade with swaret, but how do I downgrade. I'm having the same problem, but I thought mine was to the fact that the power plug was pulled from the wall while Slack was running. D'oh!

Downgrade pkg

All you have to do is look at your swaret log (/var/log/swaret). This will give you a list of packages swaret installed. Find the package that is giving you the problems and remove it using Slack's removepkg command. Then you will want to install the qt package from your second Slack CD using installpkg. Once complete restart KDE.

Is there a fix for this yet, apart from reversing the qt "upgrade" ?
Is this a common problem?

When you change the font's in konsole's Settings menu, make sure you save the changes before closing konsole. That's what worked for me.
