I know how to upgrade with swaret, but how do I downgrade. I'm having the same problem, but I thought mine was to the fact that the power plug was pulled from the wall while Slack was running. D'oh!
All you have to do is look at your swaret log (/var/log/swaret). This will give you a list of packages swaret installed. Find the package that is giving you the problems and remove it using Slack's removepkg command. Then you will want to install the qt package from your second Slack CD using installpkg. Once complete restart KDE.
