how to enable direct rendering?
 

just a quick one... how do you enable direct rendering in xwindows...

i have direct rednering enabled in the xorg.conf file and everything works fine... but from time to time... it automatically turns it self off... is there any way that i can re-enable direct rendering on while xwindows is in operation?

First you need to find the source of the problem, like what causes it to change. 2nd, a little more info would be gread ;) like video cand, kernel.
