Guess that will be my new lock screen for now. Hope they get this fixed. I have grand kids who like to sit at my computer when I am not around. |

You can try to run it manually or inside gdb from /usr/lib64/kscreenlocker_greet (btw why is it in lib64 and not in bin?) and see if it's crashing and why. |

I guess I will wait for the next update with my main system. |
People, looks like your own systems are broken, not the Plasma5 from Slackware -current!
I tested on two boxes thoughtfully updated to latest -current this Screen Lock on Wayland/Plasma5 as user, and on X11/Plasma5 as user and root, with the result that everything is fine. So, there is no issue on Slackware, but on your own systems - you messed something. |

And 'ksysguard' is obsolet ;)

plasma-systemmonitor has all the features of ksysguard and then quite a few additional. It has fully replaced ksysguard with 5.22 as the default. |
