Well hello all.I got a wierd problem i have a intel 4500hd graphic card and im running slackware 13.Thing is that to get it to work properly "videos in hd through firefox/flash" i have to reboot my machine like 2 or 3 times and some times im lucky.I tried almost every thing i can think of different kernels the new xf86-video-intel package i dont understand ?? please some one what the hell could it be i even upgrade the libdrm.

So here is what i added every thing else is pretty mutch stock

Since you have an intel graphic card which is known to cause trouble in 13.0, please refer to my following post:

You haven't actually described the problem. What happens when you try to play HD videos in crappy flash? What happens when you reboot 2 or 3 times and get lucky? Was there some reason you upgraded libdrm (like you didn't/don't have direct rendering working)?

well the problem was really poor frame rates, sorry i forgot it was late and i was pissed.I finaly found out that the problem was my power management settings in my bios and i feel like such an ass :redface: .Any how thanks to all of you that did reply to my post :newbie: lol
