silly question

You know, this seems like a silly question.. But, I'm trying to locate the wine.conf file to edit it so i can install world of warcraft.. BUT, i can't seem to locate it. I've looked in the /etc and everything.. can't find it.. any suggestions on where it may be.. i'm running mandrake 10..

Try
Code:

locate wine.conf
If your database of files (like a cache) is not updated you can update it manually as root with
Code:

updatedb

I'm not really sure but it should be in /home/username/.wine
:)

are you looking using the file manager or console?

Click on "Run Application" and type /home/username/.wine/config and it will open.

its "Run Application" in Gnome I think its "Run Command" in KDE.

the file itself isn't called "wine.conf" its just "config"
