Try
Code:
locate wine.conf
If your database of files (like a cache) is not updated you can update it manually as root with
Code:
updatedb

are you looking using the file manager or console?

Click on "Run Application" and type /home/username/.wine/config and it will open.

its "Run Application" in Gnome I think its "Run Command" in KDE.

the file itself isn't called "wine.conf" its just "config"
